Andrew LaCombe and Meagen Morrison

Andrew LaCombe and Meagen Morrison first became friends as members of the U.P. Children’s Museum Board of Directors. One fundraiser they planned together was ‘Just Dance Off.’ But don’t be fooled, while Andrew and Meagen love music and fun, they have no dance experience.
Andrew is the News Director at TV6. Born and raised in Marquette, Andrew graduated from Lawrence University in Appleton, Wisconsin with a Bachelor of Music degree in cello performance and a minor in government. As a political and investigative reporter in Green Bay, Andrew covered Wisconsin politics and elections. In the 2016 election cycle, he interviewed Donald Trump, Bernie Sanders and many other candidates. Marquette called Andrew home again in 2017 for several reasons – mainly his family and friends, the snow, and the vibrant community.
Andrew is currently the board president of the Marquette Symphony Orchestra and an active member with Marquette West Rotary Club, the Salvation Army of Marquette County, and the Friends of Camp Batawagama. In his free time, you can find Andrew playing his cello, running, skiing or socializing at one of Marquette’s great local establishments.
Meagen is a native Yooper and graduated from Northern Michigan University with a Bachelor of Science degree in biology and a minor in chemistry. She has worked at Eagle Mine since 2011, where she specializes in social performance and community engagement.
Meagen serves as board president of Accelerate UP and the U.P. Children’s Museum, is an active member of Marquette West Rotary Club, City of Marquette Downtown Development Authority, and Women’s Center Sexual Assault & Domestic Violence Response Team.
In her free time, you can find Meagen trying to get some runs in at Marquette Mountain while wrangling her three kids.
