Sabrina and Grant Langdon

Sabrina and Grant Langdon officially met working for NMU’s Housing Department but got to know each other through NMU’s Show Choir in 2010. After years of flirting between doing box steps and spins (expertly choreographed by the fabulous Jill Grundstrom), they finally got together in January of 2012 and the rest is history! Both preferring to be in the chorus and not center stage, Grant and Sabrina are ready to push out of their comfort zones for this amazing event and raise as much as possible for U.P. Hospice!
Both Sabrina and Grant grew up elsewhere (Miland, MI and Edgar, WI, respectively), but found their way to Marquette to attend NMU. Marquette drew them in because, despite graduating in 2010 and 2014, they couldn’t bring themselves to leave! They now both have established their careers in Marquette, Sabrina as a business owner and lead photographer of Sabrina Leigh Studios and Grant as the Assistant Director of Career Services at NMU.
Sabrina is an art teacher turned wedding photographer with a love for all things aesthetic. An advocate for the community, Sabrina does mentoring with NMU’s Student Leader Fellowship Program, volunteers with the Marquette Artist Collective and is the co-leader of her local Rising Tide Society chapter for creative entrepreneurs. She loves the outdoors, traveling in their campervan (#vanlife), painting, cuddling animals, eating french fries, and rewatching popular comedies (currently Parks & Rec).
Sabrina dedicates her performance to her sister, who is battling breast cancer and had required hospice for a period of time – though amazingly recovered and is still going strong in her fight!
Working professionally for NMU since 2010, Grant spent 10 years as a Resident Director and 2 in Career Services. He’s incredibly passionate about his job, spending his days empowering students and alumni as they acquire jobs aligning with their values and purpose. He even shoots free headshots for students! He had a great photography teacher ;). Grant also volunteers as a Mentor for SLFP and likes to mountain bike, play video and board games, watch Star Wars, and skijor with their dog, Senna.
