Chris and Shawn Owsley first competed on Dancing with Our Stars, Disney Edition in 2019! They were very fortunate to be paired with first-time pro, Gracie Fries. Together they competed with a jazz style dance to a Monsters Inc. theme. Competing in Dancing with Our Stars was a joyful, exciting and memorable event that they will cherish for a lifetime. Who knew Chris could have moves like that on stage and the experience reminded Shawn how much she loves to perform!
When they aren’t dancing, Chris is the Partner Installs Manager at Easy Ice and Shawn works with the amazing team at Marquette County Title. In their spare time they enjoy golfing, bike rides and especially going to camp in Baraga County. Their favorite pass time though is watching their niece and nephew excel at all the sports they love. You’ll find Auntie and Uncle at many hockey games, cross county meets, soccer games, and dance competitions! Chris and Shawn also enjoy a quiet life at home with their two dogs, Zuri and Ollie.
When the call came to participate once again in Dancing with Our Stars, All-Star Edition, it should be no surprise that Shawn couldn’t wait to dance and perform again, and Chris, simply said YES to his wife! They are excited and honored to be a part of the All-Star Edition and can’t wait to raise some much needed funds for Hospice and put on a great show!
