This UP couple of 20 years started off as a chance encounter at the Ojibwa casino, which was love at first sight and never looked back. You can find these two devoting all their time to their beautiful children Kynlee and Corbyn. They love enjoying the beach and water at their family camp on Lake Michigamme. Now let’s take a closer look at this dynamic couple.
First and most importantly…Wendy a UP native, attended MSHS and went on to graduate with a bachelor’s degree in social science and an associate in clinical science degree from NMU. She is a lead X-Ray technician at UP Health Systems-Bell where she has worked for the last 12 years. Wendy also manages her family’s rental properties. She is involved with the Marquette after hours Rotary Club and devotes time volunteering at numerous events around town. Wendy does have a dance background that started at the age of 3. She was also an avid gymnast. Wendy loves sports and enjoys downhill skiing and plays volleyball year-round. In Wendy’s free time, she likes to hang out with friends and is always trying to plan the next party or gathering.
Moving on to Wendy’s quieter better half, Corey is also a UP native, who attended MSHS and went on to graduate from NMU with a Financial Management Degree. Corey has been employed at Acrisure, formally known as VAST for 12 years as a Personal Risk Manager.
As a child, Corey grew up playing baseball and then transitioned into the men’s fastpitch league at Hurley Field. Now that Corey’s kids are getting into the sport he loves, he has transitioned from playing to coaching. Corey enjoys spending time in the woods with friends and family.
It’s rumored and often said, that “everyone loves Corey” because he always has a smile on his face and usually has a joke or two up his sleeve. It took a lot of coaxing Corey to commit to doing DWOS but he knew how much Wendy wanted to do it and finally buckled. These stars are highly competitive and are both eager to help raise money for Hospice as her mother was in hospice care for only a short time, so she knows the importance and benefits that hospice provides.
